This new year opens with big news ahead. In fact, just after my re-entry in the United States, I will be in Manhattan, New York City with an event of great international relevance.
I will be interviewed in a public presentation by La Stampa correspondent Francesco Semprini, in an event that will also bring my Vocal Coaching revolution to New York. From that date, in fact, I will start with my new studio’s adventure in the Big Apple, the first Italian Vocal Coach to succeed in this great achievement. In addition to Milan, London and Boston, I will also have a studio in Manhattan!
The event will take place at the Urbani Truffle Lab, another Italian excellence in the world.

The Interview continue with this question: What is the miracle you do to people’s voices? Tone deaf that sing in tune, shy people that become confident, how? «There is no miracle. Everyone has an “outer” voice, the one that we don’t love and that don’t resonate within, and everyone has the “inner” voice, the one we would like to sound out in the world but we are not able to. My job is to help anyone finding their voice: the cleanest, the natural and the most energy voice».
The last question of the interview is: What is the best outcome of training a voice with you? «Self estime. You are finally in tune with yourself. You listen yourself and you recognize yourself in your voice. Your voice is the mirror of your soul».

The female Magazine “Donna Moderna” publishes in the issue dedicated to Valentine’s Day an interview of me where I explain how to acquire a sensual voice!
How to get a sexy voice? This question is very common to me, so it seems useful to write a few words about it.
Well, what’s a sexy voice?
In the common imaginary is the voice that we have heard over and over in the movies, during the romantic moments of some films that probably have been dubbed in post production.
Actually, that kind of voice is not the one really being used by the actress, but the one “faked” by the voice over artist, not even involved in the scene of the film.
Many times we are inclined to associate the voice to the images, so one of the voices we have heard, for example in the films of Marilyn Monroe or Clark Gable, have defined a standard of fact of “sensual” voice. Instinctively you are led to associate that kind of sound with sensuality, but if you could hear the original voices of the actor in a real moment of romance, you will be shocked to discover how much what you hear has nothing to do with the idea of sensuality that you built inside.
Well, once you have established that the sensual voice you hear in the movies has nothing to do with the sensuality expressed by the actor’s body, you must therefore define what a sensual voice is. A concept that is not easy to place in the modern era, linked by a double thread with rationality. To understand more, it is enough to discover what is a sense, that is, something that does not belong to the intellect, something primordial, far from logic.
Petrarch wrote, “Where the senses reign, reason is dead.”
And here is were my method,Inborn Voice, reigns supreme. In fact, the sensual voice is the one that arises spontaneously when you are in perfect harmony and in perfect tune with your self, without inhibitory restrictions or preconceptions related to the mind. It’s the voice that springs spontaneously in intimacy, when you don’t use your mind to place yourself in narrow and narrow boxes like “I’m fat”, “I have cellulitis”, “I’m bald”, and so on. Whenever you don’t use your mind to communicate part of yourself, of your soul, you use, by definition, a sensual voice.
The voice you hear in the movies is therefore an “artificial” and ” fake” voice. It seems sensual only because of the images that pass as you listen and the suggestion that is created. So the golden rule is not to copy it! It would immediately appear false, in moments of true intimacy. Among other things, that kind of voice is so-called “airy”, and is one of the most dangerous types of phonation for vocal cords, since it dehydrates them a lot.
So if you are a voice actor and want to learn how to make a ” sexy ” voice for the cinema, I can definitely help you to grasp all the secrets of this type of phonation, but if you are looking to be REALLY sensual, then my Inborn Voice method is what you need to be able to use all the sensuality of your being in tune and in sync.

Sanremo has always been linked to the world of singing, not only for Italy, but also for all Italians around the world. I too, very young, was able to be part of it. Unfortunately or luckily, if you’re dealing with music or singing, this is the best showcase in which to be noticed.
Obviously I now live and work in Boston, but also this year I was present with some part of me. Only the people in charge of the sector have heard about it, but apparently something has reached the public level too!

After a long wait and following the many requests coming from my clients and my collaborators, I finally gave birth to my book which tries to explain in simple words and within everyone’s reach, the philosophy behind my teaching method: Inborn Voice.
With this book, anyone can taste the enormous complexity that sustains the world of the voice, spoken and sung, and how the ability to harness one’s own voice is the only real secret to personal success and happiness in one’s life.
Learning to sing, to speak or to communicate in the right way, without doing any physical or “spiritual” harm, succeeding moreover in making emotions flow from one’s own depth in a natural and spontaneous way, is something extremely difficult and far from the classical or modern vocal teaching, that is, through vocalizations, warbles and the like next to a piano.

The Italian language dialects
Today I happened to see a video of Enrico Brignano, one of my favorite Italian artist, which shows once again how comedians often give out pearls, in this case how the voice can communicate beyond words.
In this video Brignano reviews the whole of Italy, from North to South, indicating with his hand the passage from region to region, and using his voice to recreate the sounds of the many local dialects that characterize our country, all fascinating for the different sounds developed in ancient times to protect themselves from “foreigners” and “invaders”.
This video highlights the potential of the human voice, a rich and wonderful tool.
The elasticity of moving from such different sounds with this speed shows the incredible potential of Brignano’s voice, of his phonatory apparatus so versatile and fundamental for his career and his success.
Obviously any of us can achieve similar results.
Each sound makes us immediately understand the region to which we belong and the identity of the indigenous people, a topic that I explore all over the world with my Workshop “Identity and voice” now in its 4th Italian edition.
